Abortion, An African American Delemma

Of course I believe that abortion should be allowed to save the life of the mother. But honestly, how often is that the case? Those who support abortion are so obstinate and hypocritical that they won’t touch the math on this one. To them the issue of abortion has ceased to be an issue about the life of the mother or the life of the baby. It is a politically driven agenda that excludes the truth about how many actual cases there are where the life of the mother is endangered and persists in a crazed stride in the wrong direction. They don’t care to count the numbers and they assume that no one else will count either. The percentage of abortions for the life of the mother is so small that it is the low single digits. The other approximate 99% are simply for the sake of convenience which includes bad timing, inability to take responsibility, age, marital status, financial standing, family influence, etc. As a result there are 1.37 million reported abortions each year. The slaughter continues without even so much as a wince from the left. These are hard numbers. Research shows that only 1% to 3% of abortions are performed for the reasons of rape, incest, deformity or threat to the life of the mother. While he was United States Surgeon General, Dr. C. Everett Koop stated publicly that in his thirty-eight years as a pediatric surgeon, he was never aware of a single situation in which a preborn child’s life had to be taken in order to save the life of the mother. Dr. Koop said that the use of this argument to justify abortion in general was a “smoke screen.” Since 1967, the medical field has advanced considerably. As a result the danger of pregnancy to the mother has declined and in most cases disappeared all together. Yet even in the early days of legalized abortion, Dr. Alan Guttmacher of Planned Parenthood acknowledged, “Today it is possible for almost any patient to be brought through pregnancy alive, unless she suffers from a fatal illness such as cancer or leukemia, and, if so, abortion would be unlikely to prolong, much less save, life.” Dr. Landrum Shettles says that less than 1 percent of all abortions are performed to save the mother’s life. What does this say about our elected officials who continue to push this agenda of lies and deceit? The President while being interview by Rick Warren said that the issue of abortion is a complicated issue. No it isn’t. 40,000,000 human babies have been murdered in the womb. The frightening thing isn’t that he doesn’t know, but rather that he doesn’t care. But the plot thickens. These numbers show us the results, but now let’s look deeper at what is behind the madness. The motive for birth control at its foundation was the extermination of the undesirable. May 5, 2009, Rev. Walter Hoye, an African American elder of the Progressive Missionary Baptist Church in south Berkeley said that the majority of abortions are black babies. Rev. Hoye had just been arrested for standing too close to an abortion clinic.

“African Americans, he pointed out, are the “number one customers” of abortion clinics today. Although blacks account for only 14 % of the U.S. population, 37 % of all abortions in this country are performed on black women. With a live-birth rate lower than the mortality rate, Hoye said, there will be no black Americans left by the year 2100.” Walter Hoye continued, “Between 1882 and 1968, the Klan lynched 3,446 black folk. Abortion kills more than that in the African-American community in just three days.” He said, “When I explain to the brothers that abortion kills more of us than heart disease, cancer, HIV/AIDS, and violent crime, they begin to realize that this is the number-one issue facing the African-American community today. I’m not using terms like ‘holocaust’ and ‘genocide’ to get a response,” he explained. “We’re literally killing ourselves.”

Mr. Hoye is right on in his assessment of what we are doing to ourselves. Unfortunately, there are organizations that have been set up to help expedite the extermination. Maybe this better describes the plan behind Planned Parenthood. I would suggest that before you drink their Kool-Aid, that you do a bit more research into organizations like Planned Parenthood and more specifically Margaret Sanger and her ideas for genocide in the black community. Here is my question. As an African American, how can you embrace any political party or organization who is so enthusiastic in its determination to make your race and heritage extinct?
