Proverbs tells us of the “Law of our mother”. Mothers are designed to shape the details of our lives as our character is being developed. Character is actually the design of her instruction. Mothers instinctively see details and therefore are able to help their children in the formative times of their life. This can be mistaken for nagging or faultfinding, but actually is the design of God as a shaping tool of what we are becoming.
