Because of the schism between God and Sin, man became separated when they entered a sin nature.

Because they were separated, God made a plan to bring them back to him and sent Jesus as the full and final atonement of the curse of sin.

Because I accept that Jesus opened the door back to God and I am willing to walk through it, I can return to God, redeemed from my sin nature.

Because I am redeemed from the curse of sin, I am made a new creature. Except for Jesus, there has never been a man born free from the curse of sin since Adam.

Because I am a new creature, I can now have the Holy Spirit dwell inside me to lead me and guide me, to help change me every day into what I am supposed to be.

Because the Holy Spirit lives inside of me, I can trust where he leads me, as long as I have submitted myself to him and eat daily of the word of God.

Because I can trust where he leads me, I only need to pray and listen for his leading and follow it. I need not worry when I am confused or afraid. I need only to remember that I cannot be separated from God, listen to the still small voice, and follow its lead.

Because of all of this, I have been redeemed. I am no longer what I was born—a lost spirit in a body bag. I am a redeemed spirit, a child of God: A spirit having a human body experience. I am made righteous through my faith, and through my submission to him I am called to rule and reign in this life and the next. I can enter boldly into the throne room of God and once again enjoy full relationship with my Heavenly Father.

Just finished radeing Crazy Love. This goes well with that how counter-cultural would it be to live on just enough for today? And yet everyone who knows the Lord's Prayer theoretically asks for just that every time it's said!Sorry we missed you on Thursday (with Selah, et al in MD)! The 3-week-old made a nap necessary for her mama. We'll be sure to say hello the next time you're in the area!
